We are Maria and Mike. Maria is a pharmaceutical scientist, and Mike is an electrical engineer. Neither of us ever imagined we’d one day open a café, but somehow this dream kept finding its way back to us. We realized it was never really about coffee—it was about people.

For Maria and Mike, love has always looked like an open door. It’s the extra plate set at the dinner table, the cup of coffee waiting for a friend, the meals cooked with care, the conversations that linger long after the food is gone. It’s making people feel safe, seen, and loved without ever having to ask for it.

Jozour became our way of sharing that love with the world.

The name Jozour, meaning “roots,” is a reminder that the most beautiful things in life begin where no one can see them. In quiet prayers. In unwavering faith. In the sacrifices we make for the people we love. In the hope that even one small act of kindness can change someone’s day.
